Why choosing Azimut?
Azimut is a young and dynamic company, producer of standard or personalised photovoltaic modules (laminated glass, glass/glass …) in Italy. Supplying a full service, from the photovoltaic panel production phase to the concept creation, supply and installation, also including all necessary and required administrative paperwork to be presented to all the related offices, plus the financial documentation in order to get the funding grants.*.
Why investing in photovoltaic technologies?
I’m deeply concerned in a healthier world, therefore I choose a reliable technology, an inexhaustible energy source allowing a saving on my electricity bill. Recent studies have highlighted that in order to obviate the fossil fuel source depletion, the sole solution is to adopt the shared microgeneration. Particularly the advantages of the photovoltaic technology are the following:
- •No polluting ejection at all
- •Saving of traditional fossil fuel sources
- •No mechanic strain due to the non presence of any moving mechanic component
- •Flexibility of the plant (in order to get more power, you just have to add an adequate number of modules) and few maintenance effort is required.
The financial aspects:
- •Return on the investment timing: about 8-10 years (depending on the plan latitude)
- •Incentive duration in Energy Count: Energy Count: 20 years
- •Installation productivity guarantee: 25 years
- •Installation life cycle: at least 35 years (life cycle of the first photovoltaic installations).
Which is the adequate power for my photovoltaic installation?
The power of the photovoltaic installation has to grant the user’s energy needs coverage. The yearly need may be easily calculated from the real consumptions as indicated in KWh on the energy bill. In order to benefit from the incentives, the minimum required power is 1 KWp. Approximately, for domestic usage, the installations have a 3 KWp power.
How is the photovoltaic modules functioning by cloudy weather?
The photovoltaic modules run whether with the direct sunlight radiation or with the diffused one. The electric production is at the maximum level in standard conditions that is with maximum sunlight and the perfect south orientation of the modules and clear sky. However he modules have an energy production capacity even in case of cloudy sky, in this case the diffused solar radiation will be used producing certainly a reduced performance.
Is the installation on an industrial warehouse possible?
The architectural industrial buildings typology, with large flat surface coverings, without shade, and their huge energy requirement make these structures favourable for choosing this technology with good opportunity for an assured and profitable return of the investment
What is the maintenance cost?
Photovoltaic panels don’t require any specific maintenance system, rain contribute to the cleanness of the panel surface. However, a visual inspection twice or three time per year is recommended, mainly when particular weather conditions occur. Moreover the panels are produced so that they can resist to hail and snow overload.
Nevertheless it’s important having a special care to the indicators located on the inverter, as they may advise in case of structural damages or anomaly in the plant efficiency.
What happens in case of black out?
The incentive form called Energy Count privileges the installation of Grid-connected, even if connected to the public electric distribution network system. In this case. The law requires that in case of anomaly detected by the inverter the photovoltaic installation has to be disconnected immediately, even in case of brown out on the main network or in case of black out. Without any connection to the public network system, the Grid-connected photovoltaic installation is unable to produce.
Is a protection system against electric meteorological discharges necessary?
A photovoltaic installation partially or fully integrated in the roof structure is not going to noticeably increase the risk to intercept lightning. If existing the lightning conductor will have to be connected to the new gears; if not it will not be necessary to realise any lightning conductor.
How much space needs a photovoltaic installation?
The photovoltaic installations dimensions mainly depend from the typology of the panels chosen (variable characteristics: dimensions, power, material) and from the final power that will be installed. Roughly, it is required about 7m2 for each KWp to be installed. The installation encumbrance will have to be evaluated for each specific situation taking in consideration the positioning of the pales in an area without shadow, avoiding self shadowing for those installations on roofs with flat surface.
